Policy Seminar

In this seminar, we will study in depth a number of contemporary and competing economic policies attempting to solve pressing economic problems. Among the policies to be discussed and analyzed are: Sanctions; US Dollar Hegemony; Central Bank Independence; Financing Development; Industrial Policies; Climate Change and Monetary and Fiscal Policies; Behavioral Finance and Instability; AI and Employment.Some policies focus on the U.S. economy while others are applicable to the global economy. There will be some online lectures delivered by guest lecturers on specific policies. Guest faculty will also give students the opportunity for Q&A.
