Join Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun, founder and president of Parami University, for a conversation with students in crisis from Parami, American University of Afghanistan, and Smolny Beyond Borders.

Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun completed his undergraduate education at Bard College at Simon’s Rock and Oxford University, and received his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Yale University. He came back to Myanmar in 2014 to dedicate his life to the development of his native country and established a well-regarded school known as Parami Institute in early 2017. Following the military coup of 2021, Parami University has been operating as a private, non-profit, online, synchronous university licensed by the Higher Education Licensure Commission in Washington, D.C. It offers Associate and Bachelor's degree programs.
