BCSH Webinar: David McCullough of the American Exchange Project, and "Contact Theory"

BCSH Webinar: David McCullough of the American Exchange Project, and "Contact Theory"

Thursday, September 25, 2025
Online Event
3:00 pm
Please join the Bard Center for the Study of Hate (BCSH) as we welcome David McCullough III, the CEO and co-founder of the American Exchange Project. AEP has a mission “to connect Americans to one another and their country through a civic coming-of-age ritual defined by adventure, connection, and hometown pride.” Relying on “contact theory,” AEP sends students across the country for an immersive domestic exchange experience in communities very different from their own, with other students from around the country. One goal is to reduce prejudice.
