Journal of Hate Studies Invites Article Proposals

Journal of Hate Studies Invites Article Proposals

Deadline: Monday, February 1, 2027
Online Event
GHEA21, together with the Bard Center for the Study of Hate, invites faculty to submit to the 30th anniversary of the Journal of Hate Studies, a project of Gonzaga University’s Center for the Study of Hate.

Moral Courage in the Work We've Done and the Work Ahead commemorates the 30th anniversary of the founding of the field of hate studies. This special issue honors the work that scholars, activists, practitioners, victims, and others have done to investigate, prevent, combat, and heal from hate while also asking challenging questions about the field’s assumptions, failures, and future.
