9:00 am – 11:00 am
This collective brainstorm will identify best practices for addressing the challenges that artificial intelligence poses for online teaching. It aims to help faculty adapt their GHEA21 courses to both prepare students for a world where AI is pervasive and ensure that students still do their own work, think critically, and learn. GHEA21 plans to compile content—pedagogical approaches, insights for course design, sample assignments, etc.—for a guide to Teaching in the Age of AI, which will be shared as a public document with GHEA21 faculty.
This discussion will be facilitated by Daniel Calingaert, Managing Director of GHEA21 and Dean of Global Programs, and Michelle Hoffman, Deputy Director, Bard College Institute for Writing and Thinking, Co-Director, Center for Liberal Arts and Sciences Pedagogy (CLASP).
