This course equips educators with skills and methods for effective teaching within the school context. The main emphasis of the course lies on writing measurable objectives aligned with assessment and learning goals, and making informed decisions when selecting instructional strategies that are both inclusive and intellectually rigorous. Through the concepts of backward design, participants will explore key frameworks, including Bloom's Taxonomy, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Design Thinking, and engage in collaborative practice. Through iterative design cycles, peer feedback, and reflective writing, participants will produce two lesson plans, engage in demo-teaching, and create a teaching philosophy poster connected to their professional identity.
