Begaiym Esenkulova

American University of Central Asia

Dr. Begaiym Esenkulova is an Associate Professor of the Law Division at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. Dr. Esenkulova holds LL.M. (Summa Cum Laude) and S.J.D (Summa Cum Laude) degrees from Central European University. She served as a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School (New York, USA), a visiting doctoral research scholar at the University of Cologne (Cologne, Germany), a visiting doctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg, Germany), and as a visiting postdoctoral scholar at Indiana University (Bloomington, USA). She has numerous publications related to her research interests in the USA, Europe, and Central Asia. She has presented her research in public lectures and seminars at Harvard University, Columbia University, Bard College, George Washington University, University of Cologne, London School of Economics and Political Science, and other universities.
