Cagla Ekin Güner

Central European University

Cagla Ekin Güner is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Central European University (CEU), Vienna. Her recent research focuses on urban integration governance, labor market vulnerabilities of refugees and urban citizenship. She holds a BA degree in political science and international relations from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, with a minor degree in economics, and a MA degree in political science from Central European University, Budapest, with a specialization in political economy. She published a single-authored article in the Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies. She has taught and assisted various courses on political institutions, migration and governance, social sciences methods, and political economy. For the past 3 years, she is co-hosting a podcast which aims to bring together academic perspectives on migration with personal migration experiences.
