Dina Hossain

BRAC University

Dina Hossain teaches documentary filmmaking theory and practice at BRAC University, Bangladesh. She has spent the last 25 years creating award-winning current affairs and social issues documentaries. She began her career in the USA at PBS flagship station in New York, Thirteen/WNET. She has co-produced films for New York Times Television, BBC, Discovery, Frontline (PBS) and Nightline (ABC). She currently produces advocacy and educational videos for international and national NGOs on issues of gender, economic development and the environment. Her work has taken her around the world to Afghanistan, India, Iran, Nigeria, Malaysia, Kenya, Israel and Palestine. She holds a Master of Arts from New York University in Visual Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in Public Policy.
