Nathaniel Matala

American University of Central Asia

Nathaniel Matala is an Instructor in the International and Comparative Politics department at the American University of Central Asia. He holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Bard College, Annandale-On-Hudson (2017, USA). Nathaniel joined AUCA in 2017 as a Bard Writing Fellow and formerly taught at the New Generation Academy program for five years. His research interests include US Foreign Policy in Central Asia, Post-Soviet Studies, and the intersection of AI and governance.
