Noora Barker

Al-Quds Bard College

Noora is a lecturer at the Faculty of Art, Music and Design at Birzeit University, where she teaches Artistic and Social Intervention in Public Space, Performance Studio I and II, and History and Culture of the Body. She holds an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Business Administration from Birzeit University.
A director, choreographer, and trainer, she has been a member of El-Funoun Dance Troupe since 1987 and currently serves as its Head of Production. Her work with the troupe includes choreographing and co-directing Asheera, among other productions. She is also a co-founder of the CACTUS Performance Art Collective and has developed and presented projects regionally and internationally.
