Ricardo Alfonso Corredor Cure

Universidad de los Andes

Director of the Center for Journalism Studies at Los Andes University. Graduated in Communications from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotaì, he won a Fulbright scholarship to do a master's degree in Media Studies at The New School for Social Research in New York. In his most recent experience, he served as director of communications at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Colombia and executive director of the Gabo Foundation (previously called the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for New Journalism). He has been executive producer of two television shows that won the India Catalina award (the most important TV prize in Colombia).
