Vojtech Pojar

American University of Central Asia

VojtÄ›ch Pojar is a historian specializing in entangled and comparative intellectual history, with a particular focus on modern East Central Europe in a global context. Since completing his award-winning dissertation at Central European University in Vienna in 2024, he has held research and teaching fellowships across three continents. He gained teaching experience as an OSUN–CEU Teaching Fellow at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, as a teaching fellow with Princeton University’s Global History Lab/Global History Dialogues, and as a teaching assistant at CEU Vienna. In his teaching, he seeks to share the fascination with historical research and foster collective, intercultural reflection on the past’s relevance to our present lives.
