Ata Ullah is studying political science through the
Bard Global Degree program — and building a new kind of dialogue-based journalism from inside the world's largest refugee camp. A Rohingya youth advocate and founder of the NextGen Rohingya Network, Ata’s article in
DWAkademie documents a form of grassroots journalism taking shape in Cox's Bazar: WhatsApp circles, voice notes, and moderated storytelling pages where young people verify rumors, protect each other from surveillance, and document daily life on their own terms.
