Summer Institute – Debate in the Classroom: Writing, Speaking, Teaching

Deadline Expired on July 16, 2021
Center for Liberal Arts Pedagogy (CLASP) and the Global Debate Network invite faculty from across the network to join us for a five-day Summer Institute on facilitating classroom debates.

The workshop runs from Monday to Friday, July 19-23.

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, we will think, read, and write about best practices for classroom debates as well as walk through several practical exercises that faculty can implement to integrate debate and public speaking into their classes. The institute will culminate in a full in-class debate.  Space is limited.

Registration deadline is July 16
